Normandy Journals
Photography
I received my first digital camera as a gift my freshman year of high school in 2019. I quickly became captivated with the power of the lens. When I joined the yearbook committee at my high school later that year, it became an essential part of my storytelling process. Photography granted me an access to information that allowed me to rise through the ranks of my high school's yearbook committee, where I eventually became the editor-in-chief. Today, digital photography helps me capture clearly the emotion in a story I am covering. It transports the audience to the heart of the story and is the pinnacle of producing empathy through journalism.
Later in high school, I received a camera as a gift again--only this time it was a film camera. The allure of shooting with film was that it froze moments in time. Since receiving my film camera, I have carried it across the world with me to capture more moments in time. The photos that I shot below span from Anchorage, AK to Manhattan, NY.

Videography
Perhaps the medium through which I am most passionate, I love videography because it allows viewers to experience a story as it is unfolding. The video below that I created is my first delve into semi-professional videography and is from a ten day long cross country road trip where I traveled over 1500 miles. The video received more than 5600 views on my personal Instagram account.

Graphic Design
My most recent endeavor into the multimedia realm has been one in graphic design. Recently, I became the social media manger for a brand and it has challenged me become more structured in my creativity and intentional in my personal branding.
