About Me
Nora Wilson is a second-year student at the University of Georgia pursuing a triple major in journalism, international affairs and French. She is well-versed in the realms of both current events and creative expression, writing as a reporter for the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and The Red & Black, while also publishing original poetry under the pseudonym Le Belle Fleur Sauvage.

Wilson was named a finalist in the 2023 Walt Whitman Student Poetry Competition for her debut anthology and plans to publish her second collection, How Do I Explain the Great Ocean Above My Head, in July 2025.

Beyond writing, Wilson is a skilled visual storyteller with growing expertise in short-form videography and both digital and film photography. Since February 2025, she has served as a social media and marketing intern for Brain Freeze Foods, where she creates branded digital content. Additionally, one of her personal Instagram video diaries, documenting a cross-country road trip, received nearly 6,000 views in March 2025. Her visual media experience includes a leadership role as editor-in-chief of her high school yearbook.

When school is not in session, Wilson works as a counselor and fiction writer at a nonprofit literary camp in Austin, Texas, where she mentors children.

With a strong foundation in reporting, multimedia storytelling and creative writing, she hopes to eventually apply her skills in a global context and pursue a communications role with the United Nations General Assembly.
